Privacy Policy
How Everyday Kit handles information when you use the site, contact form, analytics, and ads.
Who is responsible
Everyday Kit (the “Site”) at www.everydaykit.tools is independently operated by Jeppe Johanson (the “operator”). This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you visit or use the Site, and why.
For privacy questions or requests, use the contact form. We do not require you to create an account to use the tools.
What this site does with tool input
Almost every tool runs in your browser with client-side JavaScript. Text, files, passwords, images, and PDFs you paste or select are processed on your device so you can see a result. We do not upload that input to Everyday Kit servers for processing, unless a specific tool page clearly says otherwise.
Closing the tab clears what you entered on that page from the active session. We do not ask you to register, and we do not store tool drafts in an Everyday Kit account.
Information we receive
Contact form
If you send a message through the contact form, we receive the name (optional), email address, and message you submit so we can read feedback and reply. Delivery is handled by Web3Forms, which forwards the submission to the operator by email. Do not send passwords, payment details, or other highly sensitive data through the form.
We keep contact messages only as long as needed to respond and follow up. You can ask us to delete a message you sent by contacting us from the same email address.
Hosting and technical logs
The Site is hosted on Vercel. Like most hosts, Vercel may process standard request data (for example IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamps) to deliver pages, keep the service secure, and diagnose outages. That processing is controlled by Vercel under their role as a hosting provider.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to see aggregated page views (for example which tools are opened). This helps us improve the Site. It does not require an Everyday Kit account. Vercel describes how their analytics product works in their own documentation and privacy materials.
Advertising and cookies
Everyday Kit may show advertisements from Google AdSense and its advertising partners to help cover hosting. Ads only appear when a real placement is configured. See the Ads disclosure for a short overview.
Google and partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads, measure performance, and—where allowed—show ads based on prior visits to this Site or other sites. In regions that require consent for personalized ads (including the EEA/UK), Google’s consent messaging (Funding Choices) may ask you to choose before personalized ads are shown.
- How Google uses information: policies.google.com/privacy
- Manage ad preferences: google.com/settings/ads
- Google’s advertising partner sites: AdSense partner guidance
You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may limit personalization; core tools are designed to work without an Everyday Kit login.
Why we process information
Depending on your location and the activity, we process information to:
- Provide and operate free browser tools and guides
- Respond to messages you send through the contact form
- Understand aggregate usage so we can improve the Site
- Host, secure, and keep the Site available
- Show ads (where configured), including personalization only where consent or another lawful basis applies
Where EU/EEA or UK data-protection law applies, tool input that never leaves your device is not “collected” by Everyday Kit in the usual sense. Contact messages are processed to respond to your request. Analytics and hosting are used for our legitimate interest in running and improving a free tools site. Personalized advertising, where shown, relies on consent collected through the consent experience when required.
Sharing
We do not sell your contact-form messages. We use service providers that process data on our behalf or as independent controllers for their products:
- Vercel — hosting and Web Analytics
- Web3Forms — contact form delivery
- Google — AdSense, related ad cookies, and consent messaging where used
Those providers have their own privacy policies. We share only what is needed for each service to work.
International transfers
Our hosts and vendors may process data in the United States or other countries. Where required, they use contractual or other transfer mechanisms described in their documentation. Advertising partners may process data according to Google’s policies and your consent choices.
Retention
Tool input that stays in your browser is not retained by Everyday Kit after you leave the page. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your request. Hosting and analytics retention follows the settings and defaults of those providers. Ad-related cookies follow Google’s and your browser’s retention behavior.
Your choices and rights
You can stop using the Site at any time, clear site data in your browser, and adjust ad preferences through the Google link above. If EU/EEA or UK data-protection law applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise a request related to information Everyday Kit holds (for example a contact message), use the contact form and describe what you need. We may ask you to confirm the email address used in the original message.
Children
The Site is a general-audience tools site. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect contact information from children for Everyday Kit accounts (we do not offer accounts).
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when the Site, vendors, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date below will change when we publish a revision. Continued use of the Site after an update means you should review the new text.
Last updated: September 2026.
